Mayan art consists of carvings, pottery, clay figuring, and bowl molding.  Through their art you are able to document a growing and changing Mayan society over generations through creativity and beauty.  The Mayans depicted all aspects of themselves.  They "talked" about religious glory, "told" stories that would be passed down through the years, and "spoke" of their life, whether it was a scene of joy and excitement, or a somber scene, each piece of their hand-crafted work of art was always made with love, devotion, and dedication to their Mayan way of life and the civilization they were hoping to preserve in their pieces.
